The Inspiration for Natural Cover

Linda Profile Picture

In 1974 while consulting with a client, I was challenged when she asked me if I could conceal a little white scar in the center of her cheek. After several attempts, using a private label foundation and powder, I knew it was futile. She left in tears, and I was beyond disturbed and frustrated. Never before had I not been able to make my client beam at her reflection. Using my skills as a makeup artist just wasn’t enough. It was that defining moment that I knew I had found my calling. To help people normalize their appearance through the art of makeup was, and still is, my passion after 30 years.

But how could I help everyone? There was nothing on the market that could achieve the results I wanted for my clients. I knew then that I would need to develop my own product, and it all began with that one client who came to me for help. Although I don’t even know her name, she was the person who unknowingly set me upon my path.

Since its debut in 1984, Natural Cover has helped thousands of women, men and children transform their appearance and build confidence. For the makeup artists who skillfully express their client’s vision or the medical practitioner who assists the dermatological or post-surgical patient conceal temporary or permanent skin conditions, Natural Cover, the best foundation/concealer on the market, is the solution.
